Equipping Staff
We chose to let the people of New Covenant Bible Church share with you their thoughts on each of our Equipping Staff rather than just providing the "standard" biography. We currently have nine full-time pastors: Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, Worship Pastor, Senior High Pastor,
Middle School Pastor, Children's Pastor, Middle Adult Pastor, Mature Adult/Missions Pastor, and Young Adult Pastor. Also of vital importance are our Directors of Preschool & Women’s Ministries.

Bob Westfall (E-mail)
Pastor Bob is enthusiastic to "grow" our small group population. He really has a heart and passion for discipling and connecting his flock! Each time I am with him, I go away knowing him better...I'd say he is very genuine.
In addition to opening his home for fun and fellowship, he's a great cook and host!
I've been working on the "40 Days of Purpose" campaign with Bob. His agenda is not his own, it's the Lord's. His 20+ years of pastoral experience is evident in his ability to get things done.
Pastor Bob is a "people person", with a heart for ministering to God's people.
Bob is a servant leader. He leads those around him with a humble heart and servitude for the Lord.

It would be hard to match the craziness of the 'Old Mark' but Mark E. could do it. He is really cool!

He is a committed family man.
Stays fit through physical activity, and even attends various sport
activities of the Middle Schoolers.

Mark Forstrom (E-mail)
Unceasingly energizes the youth group to tackle a variety of challenges to help them see God working in their personal lives and to reach out to others in their peer groups and on mission projects.
He really loves all the kids in the youth group and would do anything to help them out. (Quoted from a student)
Mark makes sure the kids do it all - local ongoing ministry projects, in-depth Bible study for those who want to go deeper in the Lord and in Christian community, student-led worship in Sunday school and youth group meetings, small groups, fellowship, conferences and mission trips. He encourages responsibility, growth and fun.
(Quoted from a parent)
He’s real. He’s really honest about what’s going on in his life.
He doesn’t seem to have a church face that he puts on.
(Quoted from a student)

(Click to hear on-line worship services.)
An awesome musical talent that truly glorifies God through a variety of themes.
Gary celebrates the diverseness of our God with stately hymns of the faith, fresh praise songs, lush choral pieces, old time gospel sounds, and inspiring orchestral numbers.

Tye Male (E-mail)
Tye is a fun and no-nonsense guy who takes his job as a servant leader very seriously but doesn't take himself too seriously.
He is devoted to following the Spirit's lead in his life and ministry.
Tye is interested in developing relationships and ministering to people from a foundation of genuine friendship.

Kim Pagel (E-mail)
Continuously strives to integrate new people into the fabric of the church with his attention to individual needs and interests.
All the experiences in his life are melded into a testimony that comfortably relates to whatever walk of life you come from.
He has brought a passion for missions that has greatly broadened and enhanced our church’s concept of short-term missions.

Mick Schultz (E-mail)
Mick has a love for kids of all ages. Kids just seem to sense this about Pastor Mick. God has given him a special gift to understand their needs and how to bring them closer to Jesus. His children's sermons hold the children captive and there isn't an adult who wants to miss what he has to say either.
Mick loves practical jokes and loves to have fun. He believes the week of Kid's Camp is like having a vacation.
Who could ever get tired at camp? It's not work, it's the best time of life.
Many that have worked with Mick hear that every child wants Pastor Mick to be their dad.

James Wartian (E-mail)
This summer I had the opportunity to minister along with Pastor James in the Czech Republic. What a blessing he was to me and our team!
James has a unique gift of being able to stay focused on the big picture without losing sight of the task at hand.

Colette Rieck (E-mail)
When Colette has a task to do, she completes it, no matter how hard, or "impossible it may seem."
I've decided that her name really should be "Grace" - as in "Amazing", for she truly is an amazing and outstanding woman. Her load, is extremely heavy, but her approach in dealing with her very diversified responsibilities and numerous emergencies truly reflect her Spirit-filled daily walk with God. Colette is such a "down to earth" lady with much wisdom and ideas to share with children and their volunteers.
She always has a genuine smile and always seems to have all the time you need to "bend her ear", discuss a lengthy involved project (maybe hers - maybe not), or just get your issue across to her.
